4. Using Tables.

Tables are very useful on web pages and a key part to any web designer's work.

They are especially good at laying information out information in a structured way.




Inserting & Formatting Tables

  1. Open index.htm by double clicking on the title in the file tree.
  2. Watch the Inserting Tables movie and follow to add a table in a layer on your page.
  3. Use the Property Inspector to format your table.
  4. Save your work.




Entering Pictures & Text into Tables

Using tables is a good way to keep all related text and pictures all line up with each other in columns.

  1. Watch the movie on Adding Pictures & Text to Tables and follow the steps to place a picture on the web page.
  2. Fill the remaining spaces with the covers and titles.
  3. Save your work.
  4. Preview your work by pressing F12.






What you have to do!

  1. Add a table to a layer on a page.
  2. Change the way the table looks using the Property Inspector.
  3. Add Text into cells on the page.
  4. Save your work.
  5. Tick off your Progress Grids.


Mark off Task 5 your progress grids.
