7. Irregular Shapes and Fills

Two picture frames on Homer’s page don’t involve a simple rectangle or other shape that PowerPoint has options for.

However, irregular shapes such as the one in red can be created to provide a realistic effect in your presentation.

Many of the movies have been made on an Apple Computer. PowerPoint on a PC is a little different.

But filling shapes can be achieved in the same way on PC's.

To get to the Freeform tool on a PC, follow the instructions below.


Getting to the Freeform Tool

  1. Choose the Autoshapes menu on your Drawing Toolbar.

  2. Select Lines, slide to the right and;;

  3. Choose Freeform



What you have to do!

  1. Use the Freeform Line tool to draw a 'frame' for the for each of the remaining
    frames on the slide.
  2. Add a different pictures of Homer as a 'Fill' pictures to these frames.
  3. Use the same skills to create 'frames' on top of the background images on the other slides and add pictures of each character as a 'fill' to these frames.
